Did A Little Cook As It Was George Stephen's Birthday
« on: February 26, 2015, 05:37:29 PM »
While popping around the net this morning I read that it is George's birthday today. I figure what better way to remember the fella than to do a little cook. Grabbed a couple packs of sausages and smoked them:

....for almost 2 hours with oak then moved my firebricks around and added some coals for grilling:

Plated:

I took this shot of the Blue OTG a couple weeks ago. 604 touched it up as I am going to use it in an online contest:

Looks good Hoss, didn't know about our boy's birthday. Hmmm, don't know why it's not some kind of holiday!? Glad I got my grill out too
Picture looks great, good luck in the contest.

That photo of the blue kettle gently smoking away in the snow cave is poster-worthy!
