I'm sorry it's 1am. We have another member from Shingle Town

Since I can only pm 10 people at a time and we have more than 15 members in NorCal. I figured I will post it so everybody can participate.

End Of The Year Meetup In San Ramon   After having a short conversation(1.5 hrs only) with Ken aka 1buckie. I mentioned to Ken that we are having a end of the year mini meetup. Ken suggest that I would pm everybody.

Lawrence's challenge is everybody cooks on a smokey joe, GA, sj tamale pot etc.

I say we should all attend rain or shine Ken said it can be done. @HankB  cooks in the snow why can't we cook when it's raining. Just bring gazebos or big umbrellas. Just like one of our member @mrbill on ecook day with the 18" blue Bud Light cooker holding an umbrella in the rain. Sorry tried looking for the pic. It was deleted in photobucket.

San Ramon, California 94583Time:9amWhen: December  13

Just let me know what your thoughts are. I know everybody is busy with Thanksgiving and the rest of December.

Some quotes from our emails.
Anybody interested for an end of the year mini meetup.

Let me know. What would be an ideal date.

Most likely at Alcosta Park, San Ramon

Thank you,
Alvin

Stu
I'm in, depending on the date.

Dan
I would like to BBQ also!

Aj
Duh!  Me too.. Someone set a time and place and see how many can make it..

Lawrence
Down to hang out. Either day should be fine. I propose a SJ challenge where we each bring a smokey joe and see what we can whip up on it.
L

Dan
I will have to check with the one that runs the calendar, but I will try to make it out there.

Aj
I like it! Do mini WSM Smokers count or the Tamale Pot conversions?

Stu
Love the idea of a Smokey Joe Challenge!

Carlo
Me too! I have never used one!

Dazzo
I had trouble using a SJ, so I converted mine to gas.

Works much better  :-)

Carlo
I'm gonna work on converting mine to pressure cooker and I'm going to kick all of your asses in the competition

Lawrence
I'm gonna work on converting mine to a CROCK POT and I'm going to kick all of your asses in the competition once Carlo is done with y'all.

Aj
I'll bring my special ingredients!

Shaun
I will be steaming tamales in my tamale pot smoker.

Aj
Nothing Store bought! I wanna see ya roll em!

Shaun
I'll buy the masa and you do the rolling hippie!✌

Shaun
They should be some interesting tamales!🌲

Carlo
Hahahah all I heard from all of that is rolling... Blah blah blah pot... Blah blah blah hippie!

Dazzo
Alice B. brownies

Alicia B. tamales

Bueno

I'm really hoping to be there. I've got some family obligations and will do my best to be there.

I wish I could be there but like I told Alvin, this weekend is the room mate's, son's, 25th birthday, well it is actually today
but we planned on celebrating it this weekend since I just finished finals, He is having a lousy time of it this year as some
POS just ripped off his truck from in front of his house early Tuesday morning..

Ok grillfellas. Now that the storm is over. Like what Lawrence said. It will be a great day to cook and hang out. Hope to see most of you this Saturday.

Was seriously considering going along, but the storm blew out some electricals in the 95year old garage & some other items have cropped up, so I'm out......knock 'em down on the SJ's folks & have a blast as usual !!!!!
