Hey guys
I recently  got a weber as a Christmas gift. My question  is in the box there is a small plastic bucket . Is it to keep the briquettes  in ?

The cup is for transferring and measuring briquettes to your chimney or grill.

Generally speaking, yes. You want a hot indirect fire so the skin crisps up.

Hello and Welcome. If this is your first charcoal grill, take a little time and search "Weber grills" on YouTube. I would start out cooking a few hotdogs and hamburgers that way you can play with the vents and learn what they do. Here's a good start. They boys have been around for a long time.

That looks fantastic.  You're off to an excellent start!  You're definitely going to enjoy that new barbecue.

Everyone posts a toe pic, sooner or later. May as well get it out of the way. Haha
