I know many have grill dogs.   I have a grill cat.  She loves to perch on grills.  She sleeps on top of the Ranch for hours at a time.

I know, I’m a jerk, but I struggle with how a Weber kettle person can also be a cat person. It’s my problem not yours ;)

And here I am making peanut butter cookies for Molly….

These photos were taken this week in An Nuys, California by Henser Villela.  Pretty amazing burst mode photos of a Osprey in a dive for fish.

Even more amazing is the photo of this Osprey after the dive with two fish.  One in the talons of each foot.

These birds are amazing to watch.  I do a lot of fishing and for many years saw them diving for fish while bass fishing at assorted California lakes.  They tuck their wings back and are traveling so fast, they appear to enter the water head first.   It wasn't until I watched a documentary on Ospreys that showed one in slow motion during a dive.  About 10 feet before entering the water, the bird brings it's feet and legs forward and enters the water feet first.  They can dive 3 to 4 feet under water. Almost always the fish will be positioned with the head pointing forward in their talons.  They always dive and attack the fish from the rear.  This is because a fishes eyes are positioned such they can't see behind themselves.

Look at the intensity of those eyes.

Found this locally, a shepherd ball BQ. I now know it’s Canadian and early 70’s but does anyone has more information about this grill? Think it looks cool.

@Joep , that is one fine piece that you have there! Congratulations!

My parents had the orange / silver one back in the 1970s when I was a child.
According to my Dad, it ended up in the scrap metal pile as it developed holes due to neglect, I guess.
They are not porcelain coated, either.

I have managed to have 2 in my possession in the last 4-5 years, however, both have been sold.
The orange/silver one that I had did not say "ball-b-q" on the lid, so I assume it was one of the early editions.
The one I got was in very rough condition, but it was worth rescuing... for $10.
It appeared that a previous owner had painted the lid silver. I managed to get the paint off revealing patchy gold paint.
I also used dowel to replace the wood handles.

Around the time that I was acquiring them,
I did some research online and found some interesting tidbits.

Wow thank you, that’s a lot of information. Paid 35 dollar for mine. Can I use steelwool on it to clean? Since it is not enamel.

That’s a great price considering its condition. Be sure the steel wool is super-fine, or, 0000 (four zero).
