Salmon - Summit & Cast Iron

Yeah baby, look at that crust… thats not salmon skin…

Cast Iron Skillet with a some grape seed oil, salmon with my favorite lemon n pepper rub, cooked at 400 degrees for 6 minutes a side. Using lump oak charcoal and 2 chunks of hickory.

Served with a pad of butter, a bit more lemon pepper and broccoli.

I have never pan seared salmon.
That looks great, going to have to try that.

I will diffently have to try this. Pan seared is new to me i love that color, and the meat stills looks flakey. Great plate shot.
Now I am really Hungary.
