Maiden run of the SNS
« on: July 14, 2018, 12:39:46 PM »
So I just got a slow n sear for my birthday.  And a new Tenergy Solis Thermo.  Giving them a go today!  First impression of the SNS is it’s a freakin tank!  I’ve been running the Bigger Better Basket mod for sometime in the 26” and was pretty happy with the control.  Just starting the fire I can already tell the SNS is light years ahead as far as temp stability.  I’m pretty freakin excited, I’m just runnin a few pork streaks and corn and then some Thai peanut and teriyaki chicken skewers on the sear end of the cook.  I’ll let you know how things progress.

Rains coming in fast!  I hr flip and it’s time to move this party undercover.  SNS has been rock solid between 225-245 the whole time

Turned out great, I love the SNS.  I cranked up the temp to 350 and held it there for the last hour. (Group was getting hungry) The SNS is the best thing I’ve ever used at dialing in temps quickly and maintaining them.
