Beer Brats
« on: August 28, 2017, 09:32:04 PM »
What to do with an odd ball Coors Light, brat bath or drink it when all the good beer is gone? Sauteed some veggie scraps in butter, added the beer till boiling, then added brats, moved the pan to indirect, and let simmer for about 40 minutes. Then hit them over the fire and put back in the bath and served.

That looks very good. I'll have to try then this way.
What veggies did you use?

Onions, green tops off them, yellow and red bell pepper scraps when you clean them. Instead of throwing away I use them for flavor and cook good stuff in a pan to add on top of the Brats

Those look great. That's how I've been doing my sausages as well lately.
