Welcome to the Club, Elliott! I'm in Shrewsbury.... we've got a good crew in the StL area. Head over to the "Introduce Yourself" section and put up a post so everyone can "meet" you.

For those attending, I will bring some 22" ash pans up.  If yours is missing or beat up, this might be a good time to get one.  Save on shipping.
Kettle collector AND cooker!

I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

We are really looking forward to the meetup. I've been pulling out a few favorite recipes for sides to make and bring. I make a Mexican bean salad that's always well received at potlucks as well as an orzo salad that's a cool twist on a typical pasta salad. I'm looking for something I can infuse a bit of smoke into so I can at least have one thing that hit the grill :)  I'll have a few different things- I've never been to a party where I hadn't brought too much food, why change stuff up now? Lol

OK, I'm in for sure. Off the fence so to speak. That would be two of us (Cindy too.)

I need to study the menu and see if there are any gaps I can fill. I'm not sure what to prepare. Suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!

Edit: I don't see pork ribs on the menu. I've got those down on my 27" kettle. Would that fit in with the rest of the food? (I'd have to get to Brian's place and set up about 5 hours ahead of serving time but wouldn't have to stay. They seem to do well enough without me mucking about. ;) What is our target for serving time anyway?
kettles, smokers...

Honeybun just texted me that they are in dire need of umpires Sat. So we will probably get there right at 2pm as it's a 2.5 hr drive. Not a deal breaker for us since I'm not actually grilling and will have my sides made ahead. They games usually go till 11, then he will zip home, shower quick and we will hit the road. Just letting y'all know!!
