The smoke ring is a fallacy. It doesn't do anything for flavor.

Start with colder ribs and use a water pan. The smoke ring is formed at low temps.

Did that small snake last the entire cook? Even on my 26" I have to run a 2x2x1 snake 3/4 of the way around.

3x2 snake I usually use wood chunks but was out so this was a liitle of learning curve won't use chips ever again on a snake but I did not have to refuel top and bottom vent barely open about 4hrs
