Been dying to do a cook.
« on: January 16, 2017, 01:36:21 PM »
Between being sick and trying to work overtime for some projects it's been a while since I've cooked on the grill. I borrowed my brother in laws Dremel and cut the 7409 sweeps off my MT. Got the ring attached with hose clamps and new sweeps installed today. I was having trouble getting the new sweeps installed but with some advice from @swamprb I got them on today. I listed this red MT once but had a change in heart. She still needs her triangle cleaned up and the rust spots sanded and oiled but even though she is rough she has grown on me. Doing chicken thighs tonight.

Love the color change

Feels good to light a chimney.

Glad to hear your doing better and back in the saddle! I hate it when I can't get the grill fired for a few days. Enjoy the evening, brother. That is one beautiful redhead.

Nothing special @HoosierKettle. Just tossed the thighs in peanut oil, put on the grill with kosher salt and black pepper. Last 10 minutes they got Weber Sweet & Thick Original sauce.
