First WSM 18.5 - Craigslist find

Just paid $75 for this WSM, it is barely used and is in fantastic shape.  It came with a cover, almost new Weber charcoal starter, two big boxes of smoking wood, a couple of rib racks and the manual.  I am thrilled! It is an AT code (2013)

I have been smoking on my kettle for years, and enjoy that, but always wanted to try one of these.

I can't wait until the first butt goes on this Saturday.

The guy I bought it from said it was left by the previous home owner.  He didn't know what it was and just wanted to make a few bucks.  It even had a new in box spare water pan.

Both are the deeper bowl.

I put a 9lb butt on at 7am. Once the temp settled in at 240, it has stayed there since.  My grate temp is about 12 degrees hotter than the lid thermometer.  So far, this has been effortless!  Only a bit of bottom vent adjustment to deal with the strong winds we are having in Virginia today.
