What are normally "oven" dishes that you do on a grill?

Another apple pie. When 604 put on the online cookup end of last summer I decided to stretch myself:

I really enjoyed that day guys.

@1buckie - those turkey meatloafs look amazing. I have gone to the original post and saved the recipe. And uhh @Craig - that fried chicken rocks.

OH is that the white box that stays in the kitchen?
You can't always get what you want....but if you try sometimes you get what you need

I bake in a kettle every once in a while. At the last meetup I made an upside-down pineapple cake.

I missed the late December/early January NorCal meetup. Really looking forward to the next one.

EVERYTHING, I Refuse to turn on my oven during southern summer heat (even mornings...)

hence You guys have to try grilling Cinnamon rolls (store bought or home-made)

Apple crisps get extra crispy on top.  I elevate them by setting the pan on a couple of flat firebricks to get it up closer to the dome.

Just today I did a warm (roasted) potato salad.  With bacon and shallots and horseradish mustard dressing... I should prolly write up that recipe.

And yes, in the summertime I rarely use the stovetop, and hardly ever use the oven.

@mike.stavlund please do post! I just made this warm potato salad from Bobby Flay and it was unbelievable. Horseradish is right up my alley.

I will do that, @austin87  thanks for the encouragement.

My version is very similar, except it's entirely roasted.  And the secret is a quartered lemon-- roast it right along with the potatoes and everything else, then squeeze the juice over everything before adding the dressing.  Roasted lemon is a great flavor!
