Which lid do you like best?

No grubs just some wild winter grass mixed in the bermuda.  Yeah, both lids are good.  The one on the right does have a square vent tab though....hmmmm

does the metal lid handle lid have the flat top area like the wood handle one?

Pretty sure I'm in the vast minority here but I really love the spun flat top lids. My votes for the left.

I always give the nod to the metal handle lids.  Just has such a vintage look.  Can't beat it.  Is that Winz's old Westerner?

Definitely not from mine.  You can see how different the fade is from kettle to kettle.  My old westerner below - see how the fade goes farther past the vent?:





And Harris, for the record - I love both of those lids.  But I have to say that I am partial to any kettle that says "Wood Dale" on the vent...

As much as I love double rivet wooden handles, I am a metal handle man first. The Wood Dale on the right...
