I have a Q220 on a stand and it's a great grill. It's portable and big enough for quick cooks where charcoal isn't an option but without the bulk and parts of a genesis. Anyone else like theirs?

Lawrence,

I think my Q200 is the perfect gasser for charcoal guys, If I am roasting something it is going on the Kamado or kettle but for quick and easy grilling sessions it is perfect.  The portability and the awesome cast iron grates are the icing on the cake.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Q100 here.  Same deal, awesome little grill.  Picked it up for next to nothing on CL.  I have mine hooked up to a big gas bottle and use it maybe twice a week. I also like to yank the cast iron grate and drop it on one of my kettles when I want that really nice sear.

Q200 (I think:-[ ) here! We carried this in our camper for a few years. Got rid of the camper but kept the grill.
;D
A bunch of black kettles

Q 200 has done everything I have asked of it. And if you want some smokiness, just chuck a lump of apple or plum on the grill.
If it breathes, we can cook it!

I don't have a Q but there is a link on this thread for "Date a Rich Woman" and I got really excited! :P

I have two, a Q320 and a Q120.
The Q320 is connected to Natural Gas and is my go to for quick mid week cookups it's also the only Weber BBQ I have bought new and was also the start of my obsession with weber products
The Q120, I like to take camping or to the park/picnics
The Q is a very versatile grill and apart from low and slow cooking there's not much you can't do with it. Most cooks are easily adaptable from the kettle to the Q as far as setting up for indirect cooking
It's also been webers biggest seller in OZ since it's release about 10yrs ago and has  won many awards for it's design.
It has a lot of similarities to a kettle as in it's easy to clean, pull apart and replace parts
And like a kettle is pretty much indestructible with it's alloy body and plastic tables and stands
I like the fact that Weber OZ is still innovating new accessories for the Q and only wish they would do the same for the kettle like they did in the 80's
I think the price point for a Q has really helped with sales too
The Q120 retails for $285
      Q220 retails for $385
      Q320 retails for $699
That probably seems expensive for you Yanks but it's well priced for the Aussie market
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

We have a Q120 that's used for quick cooking such as burger's, chicken breasts and especially fish.  The Q is really good for fish.  We have it on a large tank with a stainless braided adapter hose as squirrels will gnaw through the rubber adapter hoses.  Sometimes getting a kettle going is just too much effort relative to how long the cooking is going to take.

I have a Redhead Q120 and a Q200 that I picked up off CL super cheap.
I cook on: Backwoods Gater, Lang 36, Hunsaker Smokers, Pellet Pro 22" WSM, BGE's, WSM's, Cajun Bandits, PK Grills, Drum Smokers, Genesis Silver C, Weber Q's, Cookshack 008, Little Chief, La Caja China #2, Lodge Sportsman...oh yeah! Weber Kettles! Kamado restoration and pit modification hack!

i use an original Q for warming up left overs or cooking burgers on the fly.

when i lived in a "no charcoal allowed" condo it was my only means of grilling.

so it got me through the worst six years of my life essentially.

I only use kettles with lid bales.

news titbid.

the RED "Q" grills are exclusive to ACE Hardware.  Similar to how the orange kettles were exclusive to home depot.

stopped by there this morning for some snax.

i have the gratest (:o) ace hardware on earth.  (Northbrook IL, Cherry Lane Store).
