First cook on the 26.75
« on: August 24, 2014, 04:59:12 AM »
Picked up a new 26.75 from peaspurple day before yesterday (http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-kettles-accessories/short-run-of-good-fortune/).

We had our neighbors over for dinner last night.  With four adults and four kids to feed, I pulled the 26er out of the stable.  Weather in the mid-Atlantic was rain all day so I was forced to fire up the grill at the edge of my garage.

Although I'm the third forum member to own this grill it had yet to be cooked on.

This grill is a beast:

Jake the grill-sniffing dog locked on.

So much real estate

No need for a closer, this grill pitched a complete game

Verdict on performance: this grill is an all-star.

How do I remove the smell of meat from my garage?

Smell of meat is desirable; the smell of meat mixed in with lawn equipment, gasoline, and motor oil, not so much.  Maybe what I should have asked is how do I remove the garage smell from my garage so that it's just meat.

Cook a whole lot more so the smell of meat overpowers all the other stuff, and.................

Awesome!  Love to see grills being used for beginnings all the way through dessert.  Great cook up and nice grill!

Thanks for sharing,
