I have an 1997 red kettle Weber and I am trying to determine the value. It's in very good condition. Seldom used and always covered. Any resources out there?

Troy

we are the resource.

if you have a master touch and it's in mint condition, you should be able to get 50-75 out of it

if its its only got a few chips, its probably still worth 30-50, depending on where you live

value is really subjective...Are you looking to sell your red kettle here? Typically your looking at anywhere from $25-$75 for it depending on model.

Thank you for the info. I am not really looking to sell it.  I was talking to a Weber rep today and he said this color was discontinued so I was curious. I live in California by the way.

Is there a way to attach a picture for you?

Would love to see some pictures of that '97 red.  Here's how to post pictures.

Hey Strob, welcome. Nice grill. Your mt is a good example but it's not perfect. You got a chip on the lip and you're missing the thermometer shroud. Guys on the site typically pay anywhere from 40-75 for a MT in good nick. If it were perfect, it could be higher. How much higher? Dunno man, we don't have enough data points to tell you for sure. The MT is much newer- than a MBH for example- so they are more commonly found in good shape.

Nice looking grill. It would clean up really nice. Perhaps Weber may still have the thermometer shroud for sale.
