Its will be sad day when i see her go
well after kirsty from weber customer service joined from my referral on the aussiebqforum to join the WKC and had no luck finding an immaculate MBH redhead that anyone was willing to part with,
i offered my O code 1992 redhead which has never used to weber oz for display in their newly renovated showroom
at first they asked if i would sell it but as a true grillfella would do i said id prefer to do a trade
the response was what would you trade it for?
i cheekly replied cough cough gas assist performer
a short while later i received a reply of sure no worries how about a 2005 sage performer, but first we need pics of your redhead
pics sent straight away and the next day the deal was done
the performer is in transit and a weber technician will call me and deliver and assemble then carefully wrap and pack the redhead
as i could never cook on this kettle
sometimes things just need to be in a museum for everyone to see
im hoping to see pics in her new home
also with doing this trade i hope this gains us aussies (hogsy and me) a valuable relationship with weber australia in restoring old grills to their former glory with the help of supplying parts at an appropriate price
im sure i will shed a tear
when she goes but knowing she will be well cared for
