It was a late night last night...
« on: October 13, 2013, 04:30:51 PM »
Been a great week on the Board and in MN. Local, Saxart and GC8 made some great scores. 26 Brownie, 18 WSM and a 22 Brownie. Last night we had a wedding. Our boys brought us home and they were the Sobor cab for others. So I was  waiting up for there return, What else do you do, look at WKC and CL. Closed a deal at 12:45am... Seller last comment, I will remove add, see you in the morning. Short night sleep and on my way! Call seller and make sure Google Maps is correct. I agreed to the price of the listing. Get there and somebody else is in the driveway! Well they must be moving, guy bought a ping pong table and put it in a Mini-van, not a Brian hefty Weber Van. See the grill and hand over money.
Then I can't seem to get the lid to fit correct... :o I say this thing is out of round, the lid doesn't fit? Ding! "I'll take $10 off if you want it. Kettle in the truck. Gave it an Army bath for posting. Wasn't used much, but has it faults, but pretty.

Needs White wall upgrade, must have seen a lot of outside elements...

Have you seen a grate like this? It is not period correct, but I have not seen this...

In Memory of Spike.

Wish I had the whole story. This was the second owner. He said his wife bought it a a garage sale, she wanted to try charcoal flavor. He never used it, "To much work when I have a gas grill." BTW, tape measure and two bear hugs, lid fits nice. :D

Who has the answer to the grate???
