New to me, "Cado"
« on: September 21, 2013, 05:57:10 AM »

A huge THANK YOU to Harris92 for this! This was one of my grails. Also to Duke who helped make this happen as well.
A little more clean up is in order and a family pic. But, being here in Washington, it may have to wait till spring.

There is no way I could have gotten this without the WKC !!!!!!

Dont wanna hijack your cado thread ken, but the chestnut coppertone is actually the old pinkish color.  This is a pic of one of Brians:

They are lighter tahn the more recent browns, more pinkish.  duke picked up a super one recently on a cross state voyage.  Copper Mist is the proper name for your brownie.

Awesome cado Ken!
Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.

Sweet lookin avocado greenie! Of all the green kettles that Weber has ever put out, 'cado is my fav.

Here's some interesting tidbits on the color and G.E. Appliancs from 1966.... my folks had this color and brand (abeit the 1976-77 models)

Awesome Cado Ken! The dark handles really set the cado's off just like the ad Craig posted said. Growing up we had that same exact set of washer and dryer, but we had the double door refrigerator and we also had the matching stove. If i'm not mistaken we even had the dishwasher because my moms favorite color is green. We also had an avocado 72 Monte Carlo. :-[
