I would do a lot of my sides on that thing.
Sauteed onions or mushrooms, spiced apples, herb roasted potatos, grilled polenta.
Also other uses would be smaller sliced meat dishes like bulgogi, char siu, etc.
Man, when this thread first went up I initially thought Galbi! but I couldn't think of any sides to go with it so I redacted.
Some great sides for any type of Asian bbq style meats. I love mixing different types of cuisines to come up with a very tasty meal. These are some great side dishes I have made to go with Filipino, Korean, and Chinese style bbq.
Bao (Chinese steamed buns) - You can make them pretty easily or you can buy them at a Asian market. They are steamed buns that go so well with Asian bbq. I buy them from a local Asian market.
Spicy and sweet pickled veggies - You can eat them after a couple hours but I like the flavors if they have been sitting for at least 24 hours.
2lbs of veggies (I like doing carrots and dikon julienned)

1/2 cup rice vinegar
3 whole star anise
3/4 cup raw or granulated sugar
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Rice - Steamed or fried rice, it doesn't matter!
Kimchee - enough said about this
scallion pancake - you can wrap any type of meat up in it like a savory crepe
