70s Yellow Weber sighting
« on: September 03, 2013, 12:14:05 PM »
Toured the Napa valley over Labor Day weekend and saw a yellow Weber behind an industrial building.
Does not have a year letter code and has patent # so I think it's a 70s Weber.
Looks like it was used occasionally for work BBQs.
Maybe if someone is really interested in getting it you can offer to buy them a new Weber.
I have photos but having difficulties uploading. If someone can help me upload I can email to you.

Man, I'd be all over that thing whether the owners liked it or not!  lol
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

You're not late at all Ken.. Watch how many posts we have in the next 24 hours.
I'm sure the original poster is getting bombarded by people.
He's free to do as he pleases.. I just hope no one sinks so low to try and be deceitful with him.
I hope we don't see this kettle on an episode of COPS, err is that KETTLE COPS.. You know the stories of wayward kettles being hustled on the street.. Out of the trunks of cars.. Under trench coats.. Or maybe this one, I'm sure you all have heard it.. Pssst.. You wanna buy a Weber? I have an extra one on the truck, I can't take it back. Only $50 bucks..
Should be an interesting story.. or at least I hope so.. After all, we don't collect grills..we collect stories.. that reminds me of that time I spent in Omaha.. There was this girl and.. Oops, wrong story.. You get my drift.. Gotta run.. I hear the boss calling.. "No honey, I'm not on that website again.."    8)

Talking to you is like beating my head on the wall, it feels so good when I stop..... I've been posting all weekend from the road mind you.... Why don't you go back to doing whatever it is that you do.... You so lazy now you can't even pick up your own stuff?

Yup I almost missed it. Saw something yellow at the corner of my eye as I was walking by
and did a double take, and yelled, "A yellow Webba!"
Told my wife, "Give me your phone! I need to take a pic to show the guys on the forum!"

Hopefully we can recover this beauty
