Mind blowing
« on: July 12, 2023, 03:50:52 PM »
Came across this pretty sweet bright orange electric battery operated fire blower… had to have it.

Made by A Rowley Tool & Engineering Co in Green Lake Wisconsin, these first appeared in Weber catalogs in the early 60s and stopped appearing by the late 60s to early 70s.

They were offered in silver and I’ve got one in black with a battery box cover, handle and a hook to place over the grill bowl but this particular orange colour was only mentioned in the 1961 catalog. Pretty cool piece.

Very cool. I’ve seen them in catalogs and wondered how many survived. I would guess a very high throw away rate amongst the (likely) few sold.
