First Cook on the Summit…..Fajitas!
« on: June 26, 2022, 04:43:42 PM »
Back from the beach, wife and I are beginning a carb reduced diet.  Menu planned, groceries bought and @JEBIV fajitas are first up.  Took apart the new to me Summit Charcoal grill, refilled a propane canister, tried out the gas assist and bam! Works perfectly.  Wife asked are we using the gas grill?  (As always lol - she’s not a fan of smoke) Nope I say, we’re going to try out the Summit.  Long story short, marinated skirt steak was nothing short of magical, peppers and onions on the CI skillet were amazing and her tomato avocado salad topped off the meal perfectly.  Carb free, but hey I’m still on vacation until tomorrow - had an Oyster City Mill Pond Dirty Blonde thanks to my friend Robert @AZ2FL

Love the way this Summit cooks!

Wow Greg great job on the Summit cleanup! It’s a beauty. Have you named it?
Great looking first cook, may you have 100s more.

Glad your enjoying the OCB Mill Pond, it’s rather a light beer compared to Hooter Brown. Haha which I’m sure you know… lol

My wife and I had a great time meeting up with you and your wife at the beach.  We look forward to meeting up again in the fall.

SS Genesis looks great on the deck… thank you sir

Cheers

Nice cleanup on the Summit!   You’re gonna love it.  It does have a learning curve.  There’s lots of good YouTube content for it.  Enjoy!!

Good looking Summit,  Fajitas look awesome as well !
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill
