Is there a serial number / age guide for SJs?

I know there's a model number listing for Smokey Joe's, but is there a way to age date a SJ via the vent stamped serial number?

I recently came into possession of a brand new in the box Bush's Grilling Beans logo'd SJ ($20!) and was curious about the age. Thanks.

Is there a code (one on two letters) on the lidvent?

I have two questions. Do you have pictures? And do you want to sell it :D

Oh, thanks Lowbrass, I didn't realize they were coded the same as the full-sized kettles.  I thought the taco'd fiberglass handle only came into life after 2013, so did not expect it would be a 2007.

Stillgriller, I do have photos.  As for wanting to sell it, I'm not sure. I guess I could be convinced or for a trade of some sort.

I stumbled onto this as a lark. My buddy saw the Q2000 score I made last week and decided he wanted to find a small grill for down by his lakefront backyard. He stumbled onto a local CraigsList listing that was selling a BNIB Smokey Joe for $20.  He bought it. He brought it home and assembled it. He showed me pics and I saw the logo. He didn't care about that, so he was willing to swap me for a regular SJ, so I went and bought him one.   I thought I could trade it for something else, but I got turned down :(. Lol!

Bush's Grilling Beans has a plant out here in East Knoxville / Sevierville area, so it probably originated as a corporate gift to this guy who placed the CL listing.  I disassembled it and reboxed it back to factory specs - except for the plastic hardware bag. I had to put the wing nuts and bolts into a zip-loc.
So, that's the providence of this Smokey Joe. I don't know how common the Bush's logo'd ones were as compared to larger corporations like U-Line who still sell their logo'd Webers.
