I have always assume it was off brand clone. But now I'm guessing it was made by Weber, perhaps for Sears or something. Any help?

Black with white flecks, offset early SJ style handle and vent, 3 daisy vents on bottom, legs are correct for Gen 2 SJ.

Really nice score. It's 100% Weber. Hard to tell exact dating but safe to say it was born in the 60's

It's not just a grill, it's a WEBER

Not a score. Unless you mean salvaging it from my family farm where it's been since new.

Can you tell me any more about it?

Awesome!

What I've learned the last few hours has sealed it. For this Joe's 50th anniversary it will be restored and given to my 10 year old as his first kettle, passed on from his grandfather to his father to him.

I. love. this.  This, right here, is what this club is all about!  Enjoy the restore process but treasure the time spent teaching and bonding with your son even more!
