My wife ordered one and it is supposed to be here Tuesday July 21 by end of day. Please don't be jealous as we live about 40 miles south of Chicago. Shipping is very quick from Weber here. Fingers crossed it arrives undamaged.........

The GB arrived unharmed despite big gashes in the box.  This thing is massive as this is my first 26" kettle.  Such a nice color in person.

I'm really bummed the P shape vents didn't carry over to the new Glenn Blue 26 from the colored MT and SCG.

Do you feel that the vent shape makes that much of a difference? I have both a 22" OTG and a newer master touch, and I haven't noticed much of a difference in my ability to control temps with either vent design.

I haven't played with it much, but the P shape can give you slightly more temperature control. 

I wouldnt doubt if they eventually make it over to the 26 but why change it for this run? It clearly is going to sell itself on the color alone.  Making the change now would just be an unnecessary expense.

After the glen blue is sold and gone that leaves them the opportunity to update/rework the 26er and give motivation for guys like us to purchase ANOTHER kettle. :p
