Well I've been here a week now, when I got here all I had available was a charbroil grill gasser to cook on. That wasn't happening...

We are missing one family member the other P OTS because its in the shop and not cleaned up yet.

The sjs is a transplant from my house in Tn it made the trip with us. So I guess I did have that too cook on but my son gets pissed when I cook on "his" grill, he says give me my grill back Dad!! Makes me proud.

So here we go



The black 18.5 is also my brothers he's in love with it.

Here's the first fire of the daisy wheel kettle last night



Some shrimp on the barb-q-kettle



Added some apple chips close to the end to help it remember what it's like to be needed again. Also to add something special to the shrimp.




Not a bad start for a week of work.. I will be leaving soon gents so your territory will be yours again!

I came up for a death in the family, it worked out to stay an extra week so we are still here. I'm staying in Oxford pa where I grew up. We are heading back Saturday most likely. I miss it here sometimes so it's nice to be back on a trip that wasn't super rushed to go back home.

Well they finally made it home to meet the rest of the family. I drove 800 miles, just put them back together but they aren't clean and I was playing handle swap while I was refinishing the wooden ones before I left. Too tired to fix it today but I am going to cook tonight.
 The homer is a work in progress. I have some paint to clean up on the patches. It's not a perfect match I know, but the holes are filled and stable again!

Anyway enough rambling!

Thanks duke, appreciate the kind words. I'm happy to be home and still trying to deal with the loss. Grilling always makes me feel better though.
I imagine the guys in Pennsylvania  and Maryland are happy I'm back to Nashville lol
