I'm coming up on a year with my first Weber kettle, a black 18" OTS that I picked up on a whim at Farm and Fleet. Nothing particularly special about it, really, but it is a Weber and that alone makes it special in it's own right. I like my OTS just fine, but then I added a big thermometer and an ash catcher and it was night and day how fantastic a Weber could be!
It's as good a day as any (in Chicago) to clean up my grill so I did just that and decided to share some pics. Afterall, it was WKC that provided the great info on how to maintain my kettle in like new condition! And here it is, my first Weber kettle that I've named Little Mac. I also equipped it with a ceramic pizza stone as a poorman's heat deflector/thermal mass. Trying it out with some chicken thighs today! Have a grate days, everybody!
