I dont remember if any of these catalog pics have been posted before.  They are from a 1971 catalog.

What are Kettle Bells you ask....

Something else you need to have

Smoke ring

New Galley Q, notice the porlainized ash catch.  They were stainless steel

"N" is called the "Smoker Attachment".  I have seen drawings of it in other catalogs, this was the first color picture I've seen.

I think I know who won the catalogs on eBay...keep those pics coming.  I would like to find an old school griddle for the 22.  I assume the smoker attachment sat on the charcoal grate?

looks like that galley has legs sockets too.  I wish I could see a close-up of that stainless steel gimbal bracket, and that cover looks familar...

Sorry for the low quality pics.  I have scanned other catalogs in the past and sent them to different sites.  Let me know if WKC ever plans to do somthing like that.  It seems to work well.

Are you referring to the large rectangular cast iron griddle that sits inside a 22" round grate? If so, I know where there are two of them brand new in their original box. New old stock. The shop wants $49 each. If you're interested PM me for more info & I can point you in the right direction.

Hey I think that galley cue looks like an 18? The handle looks small vs the lid.

I assume you are referring to this setup

This is different to the griddle depicted above (but still a cool accessory in its own right). Don't see them often. I got mine along with a black MT from CL. It was never used (still in box).

Keep up the pics - these are cool and provide info around old school accessories/kettles.

I was referring to the full size griddle shown in the pics (photo G) but one of those would be nice as well.  PM sent cb.

So if the smoker attachment sits on the charcoal grate where do you put the charcoal?

I don't know...maybe a 70's Weber cookbook has the answer.
I was thinking that it might fit on the tabs that the cooking grate sits on, then put the cooking grate on top, and that's what the sides on the smoker attachment are for, to hold the cooking grate just off the smoker attachment
Then it would act as a heat deflector, like the water pan in a WSM
Mind you it would be a bitch to access the fuel or add more smoke
Is there any dimensions for it in the catalog?
