Sunday afternoon score

Picked up this blue C code today. Needs a little tlc and has a few battle scars. The best part it was only 10 minutes from my house.

Very cool, don’t see double rivet bowl handles very often.  Nice score.

The blues are my favorite, been looking for one in my area but keep missing them.

Nice score! I really like those older blues. The color is more blue than modern blues, which are still good looking.

The handles are in pretty bad shape, I’m not sure if they can be saved. I would hate to drill the rivets out and replace them with screws and new handles.

The grill also came with these, which I believe to be Weber charcoal baskets.

Taking the handles off would be big mistake.
IMO your more likely find a Blue MBH than another Blue RBH.
You can't always get what you want....but if you try sometimes you get what you need

I agree I’m going to try and give them some coats of tung oil. At least that should be prevent any further deterioration.
