Don't own any 18 but I've read on a few occasions here that they existed at some point. Maybe someone with a large collection of the can chime in.

I don't have a magnet with me today, but I think the Target copper that I am cooking on at my mother-in-law's has the SS sweeps. They look too nice to be aluminized steel.

I just checked my OTG 18 with a magnet and it did not stick! Yay!

Sad news though I checked my C&B green and it doesn't not have SS sweeps like I originally thought :( I checked my SnS just to be sure and the magnet did not stick to that at all.

I know this is kind of an old topic, but...
If a magnet sticks it's SS?
I've a couple sets, one new in the box of the newer 7444 sets that magnets do stick to, are these SS?
Thanks in advance, trying to some rebuilds today and would like to use the SS

Of the 4 most  commonly used stainless, 304 and 316 are non magnetic, 430 and 434 are magnetic.

7444 are not stainless.  It's aluminized steel.
