H style one touch for EI code kettle

Just a quick question if the h style one touch system is compatible to replace the hex bolt style one touch system?. Was able to disassemble my hex bolt no problem just covered in rust. Should I replace or any tips for removing the rust?

Yes, the H style sweeper will fit right in.
If you are working on a kettle with an enclosed ash catcher (OTG, MasterTouch, Performer) you will have to rig up another way to attach the ash catcher ring.
If you want to use the old one, Evapo-Rust works wonders.
