We where going to roast some marshmallows but the fire got out of hand! Almost cooked the house. This is with no lighter fluid or accelerant .

All is good, nobody hurt, no property damage except the grass, and house is fine. Myself, wife and son where able to get it out before the fire department got to the house. I guess grace will be a little different tonight.

I’ll stick to MY kettles for the damn marshmallows![emoji51]

Turkey thighs, spaghetti squash, and a pan of root vegetables in the basement on my 26er.

Got the mini WSM out to cook up some aps, sweet and atomic buffalo turds.

I almost feel bad not deploying the summit today but I wanted to cook in the garage so I deployed the smoke and brand new Red.

I’m stuffing mushrooms and maybe extremely locally sourced deviled eggs.

Man, you weren’t lying about how much that fire burned. Again, I’m glad you guys got that put out before it hit that tall grass, brother.

My wife asked if I can help peel the potato’s? Sure we have a peeler... I just upgraded it...

I was going to suggest that the next time you wonder "why" she tends to keep you outside, to reference that picture with the drill in the kitchen. But after seeing that yard, I'm not so sure that would be better.

Glad all is well, but for the singed lawn.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
