How its made - Weber Kettles

Have you guys ever seen these videos before? A video that shows how our beloved kettles are made step-by-step. I found them really interesting as I never would have guessed that the bowls and lids are pressed into shape. I was also surprised at how quickly the leg sockets and handles get welded on.

Thanks, I hadn't seen the second video. So weird that handles and top dampers are left to end users today, when it only takes a moment to have them welded.

I wouldn't be surprised if we're bolting on leg sockets one day.

I have done that on a few older kettles thru the years where the welds failed. 

I have no problem with bolting handles on, butt I'll use my own hardware... The cheapened junk that Weber provides to do so is less than desirable.
