First go with vortex

First impressions are I can get the same heat from baskets but the shape allows for a little more room for indirect. It’s a well made piece. Wings took approximately the same time as usual and the results were the same. However, I think you gain an appreciable amount of grill space over baskets. Nice product and the bonus buffalo wing seasoning from Owens is very good.

Sauced and finished. About an hour 10 minutes. Outside temp was cold and windy.



Looking forward to experimenting with this.

Great looking wings ! ! !  I think that is the best use for the Vortex.
