I haven't posted many of the grills I have picked up recently, simply because I have been crazy busy.  So I had the day off and I was trying to put some grills to bed for the fall and get the yard organized.  So I thought I would take the time to take some pics.  With all that being said I have been on the hunt for a thumbscrew Avocado for a long time.  Well it came to my attention that a local grill fellow had one and was willing to part with it.  So we made the deal, and it's been in my garage ever since.  So today was a nice day and I got some pics of my long sought after prize....

It's an interesting one.....the older Avocados seem to have a higher thicker fade, and it's got steel wheels.  I love anything with steel wheels and thumbscrews......I love the old transitional style grills, this is a bridge between two generations...Very happy to have this one in the stable

Lets just say I have acquired a few Kettles.  Big and small.   Vintage and New...  Some say I have a problem.  I find the Kettle, buy the Kettle, USE the Kettle...No problem...
