This one has gotta be worth as much as a yellow 18" goes for. I wouldn't trade it for anything less.
  Nice score and great surprise  with the thumb screws. It's a keeper fo show.

You can get the hubcaps at Ace or Lowe's. They should be nickel plated. The Hillman brand match perfectly.

Nice!  Don't mess with those hubcaps they are  the originals.  Weber started using the black plastic in 1968.  I have a NOS 1968 thumbscrew with the same caps.  They are sealed in the original plastic.

I may have mis-spoken. I thought it may have been old enough to have this style since it was a pre patent pending.
