I just ran to Weber on my lunch break.

I don't have a S&S, so can't compare. My thought was to keep it as simple as possible. I couldn't come up with a no-screw version in my head, so I went with this. I figured everyone has baskets and could cobble this up in no time. Much as I like to tinker, if Weber made a bigger basket like this, I'd be a customer.
Congratulations on the 500th post Marty.
I just ran to Weber on my lunch break. Char baskets are on clearance for $5.03 so for a grand total of $10.76 with tax. I now own a pair of 26 inch charcoal baskets. Thanks Marty. 👍

Thank you @56MPG for motivating me to make mine. Nothing bolted, screwed, or riveted except one SS hose clamp. Inside.Outside.So far so good. I will try to make a block off plate for the front straight section.
