Seeing how the poll is going, more work was done on our patient yesterday before my work rotation. I painted the welds, handle, and the big spot on the top after I banged the dent out. Also polished the legs up and started on the triangle. Man that thing is a pain. It's not completely cleaned yet so I'll have to do it tomorrow night. Also picked out the wheels, Arnold 6" wheels with some nylon spacers so it will fit on the axle.

Wow. It's really come a long way in a short time. Glad you are saving it. Just think, someone down the line will have this and be glad someone rescued it. I've been keeping an eye out and these old kettles aren't getting any easier to find.

It's looking good. Nice to see you trying to save it.

Wow! I have to take back my original comment of parting her out. You've done a nice job with the repairs, welds and clean up. Very nice

Same here. I initially agreed with Travis about setting it aside for parts. Just goes to show that even the rough kettles still have some life in them. If I had scored this I would have probably donated to a grill fella. That's a lot of work but it's paying off. Nice job!
