Pizza!
« on: December 06, 2016, 03:16:21 PM »
After the last pizza try, I followed the advice given me by you all.  Came out much better but the dough was from Trader Joe's and was kinda tough.  It had been in the freezer for a few months so maybe fresher dough would be much better.  Next time....

Had a nice mesquite smoke flavor, enjoy!

That looks amazing. Is that parchment paper under it?

It is parchment paper.  My crust burned last time so I tried the paper, as learned on this site, and it worked grate!

@Jon R.- How the heck do you get your pizza dough so perfectly round?  Do you incorporate use of a rolling pin?

Well done!  Parchment paper works perfectly for this.

Side note:  Don't ever try this with wax paper.  After a few beers one night I grabbed the wax paper box instead of parchment paper.  I didn't realize it until I went to spin.  That shit melts and sticks to everything it touches...stone, pizza, peel, etc.

It was Trader Joe's pizza dough, guys.  It comes pre-formed and nice and round.

I haven't seen the preformed dough there before. Their "fresh" dough works pretty well, once it gets to room temp. At any rate, your pizza looks mighty tasty!!!
