So I just recently moved into a new house that has a third car garage.  It is mine to do whatever I want with!!   ;D  ;D ;D  So I plan to turn it into a sort of man-cave.  Of course, I want to be able to view my Weber kettles while I am in there.

I have seen a lot of photos over the years of people's different double-decker kettle storage solutions, but of course I can't find all of those threads now.

Please post any pictures of your or other WKC'rs storage solutions so I can draw some inspiration.  I am definitely looking at doing a double decker shelf with 22's on bottom and top.

Thanks!

@glrasmussen  That looks great!  Very close to what I am after.

Are L brackets the only thing holding up that plywood?

Looks like a really simple build, but it would fit my needs nicely.

@MaxBobcat, Yes just simple "L" brackets. Not as long as I would have liked. 4' x 8' OSB cut to 2' x 8'.
Use 3/4", I did not and may have to replace. 1/2" is dipping a bit. GL with your project.

I love how it becomes the "next step" for grillfella's to have to come up with the storage need. All are some great ideas and some even more beautiful kettles.

You would need beefier L brackets for 3/4" or some vertical supports. At 2' wide that would expecting a lot. I think you nailed it for a simple design with the 1/2" even if it has dipped a little.

Built 2 shelves for my garage, one 8ft long and one 10ft. Storage on the shelf and then on the floor underneath. Each has a lip on the front and back to keep the grills from rolling off. Pine boards and a couple 2x4s. I can get the board dimensions if you want @MaxBobcat , I can't remember them right now. Nice and sturdy though.

@1ROW Nice. I can imagine sitting on the couch, beer in hand, gazing at the beauty...
hopelessly, helplessly, happily addicted to a shipload of Webers
