This is going to be my daily driver at the dock so she probably won't get a $75 table. The dock is not particularly a favorable environment given the saltwater all over the place.   A very nice score for a dock grill.

So she's in pretty good shape other than a ton of pollen and a dirty bowl.  For the most part she simply needs a good douching.
Here's how she looks at the start-

The bowl with some dishwashing liquid to loosen up the crud.-

Halfway cleaned with the razor blade scraper and a some super fine steel wool-

Now to work the outside-

Need some Back to Black to brighten up the frame and wheels.  When I first looked at the table it looked like it was badly  stained but much of the dark marks that were visible wiped right off.
Still working

So what does this mean for your beautiful DA code?

So what does this mean for your beautiful DA code?
A friend asked to buy it on Monday.   She went to a good home.  That color on the DA was spectacular. I prefer the convenience of the tilt out Charcoal bin which I use for storage.  Having to take what you have resting on the table on the SS Performers to get at the bin annoys me.  Also knowing that eventually the 5lb tank would need a solution that I didn't want to spring for made the decision to let her go palatable.

I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

@captjoe06 I'm glad it found a good home!  I'm now on the lookout for a DA code myself...I love the tilt out charcoal bin, but I dislike the plastic table.  I also miss the higher height on the SS performer.  But, to me, the SS performer is just plain pretty.  Congrats again on the find.

I'm with you on all those points but for a dock grill around the saltwater environment I think the SS frames will fail much more easily than the other styles.

Ha!  That's true!  Las Vegas with its 4 inches of rain per year and 340 days of sunshine makes rust less of a concern for me than it would be for you.
