Welcome and congrats!  That is nice vintage 70's SJ. ( changed to single screw handle in 1981 to 82, so it could be last year 1980 too)   Love the handle and the vent.  Not sure if you are gona cook on it, but enjoy.

Congrats on finding what you were looking for! Is that a B on the vent? 

If so, @greenweb has it correct in that it's the last year for two-rivet handle.  It's also has the tabbed grate supports which started to transition to a ridge in the bowl in 1981.

It has tabs for the cooking grate, which I believe would be mid-70's… @Craig , I can't remember… is my statement correct?

@Bob BQ  tabs for the cooking grate definitely changed in 1981 (C-code). I've been putting together a write-up on those transition years... (I'll post when I can take some pics)
