Dan @Shoestringshop posted this earlier in the week, I had already seen it but decided to pas as it was between 40 and 50 miles one way.

http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/trading-post/someone-get-this-(detroit-mi)/

After a couple of days of it being online I reached out to the seller and asked if they ever get out my way, he said in fact that he does and would be willing to meet me a day later.

I really like this one, I am a big fan of the Master-touch, esp the older style.
When I got her, the bezel that holds the thermo on the handle was upside down for some reason.  The ash bucket was hanging all loosely, turns out he used a new h style blade handle which didn't work well.

I had an extra older style handle and bent the bar between the ash pan holder so it would fit tight, and it worked.

anyway here are the pics.

Little rim rash

seller installed extra thermo

Correct me if I am wrong but I haven't seen a lot of these green master-touch grills.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Nice Score!   One more MT I want is that color.

I actually saw that ad. the day it was posted. I considered driving 4hr to get it... but I just could not pull the trigger.   The thing that threw me off was missing original thermo and reversed cover and new style thermo addition.   I wondered who got it.

Glad you picked it up. It is really nice.

4 hours is a ways, we should talk,  @MrHoss from London has visited me on several occasions, and in fact is trying to get me to make the trek across the board to the land in the North.

Thanks for the offer.  If you do schedule something with MrHoss, let me know.  It is still 2.5 hrs to London On.

That's an awesome pickup! Those old green master touch kettles are still the "old" or earlier dark green. A shade or so lighter than today. I love that color!
