If any of you have ever seen my collection,  you'll know that I've never been able to find anything but black here in Iowa.  So over the winter I bit the bullet and purchased a crimson.  It seems that the curse has been broken. Lo and Behold, a really nice blue SS Performer shows up on Craigslist actually in my town. Called within fifteen minutes of posting and picked up s couple hours later.

Gave it a very quick cleaning before heading back to work and or seems its going to clean up beautifully.

Unfortunately he didn't want to give up the cover so now I need to find one.  Need an able tooffer. The wheels are currently held on with bolts. FYI, not the gas assist version but I don't mind.

I definitely was.  When I went to pick it up, a couple hours after the initial call, the seller told me he could have sold it 3 times over from the calls he got.  He said it made him wonder if he had priced it high enough.  He definitely didn't.

I couldn't believe he had it listed for that price!!!  Crazy!

Great find from one Iowa guy to another!

It was quite a deal.  Now I need to get a cover for it so my wife doesn't find it.  8)

Maybe this will give hope to those who think it'll never happen.  I've been trying to find a deal on a non-black SS for about 3 years now.  As much as I love my new Crimson performer, there's no beating the rush of finding a really good deal.
