What kind of caliper paint did you use, and how does it hold up to the heat?

Got it at an AutoZone. Good to 900F.  The more layers you spray, the brighter the shade.
Thanks!..may try it out on my K code

Definitely.  The shade brightens w/each coat, so you can use the same can on the bowl & lid fade.
Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I’ve amassed a nice collection, but I’m missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

Don't have to, but you "can".  I usually tape within an 1/8" of the chip.  Paint, let dry, scrape excess, wipe around area w/ mineral spirits.  Can lift paper out of way, while painting, to try to get close to a matching finish.

That is awesome! I especially like the 8" wheel conversion, that has me thinking...
Don't just think about it, be about it.  I was putting together a grill for a friend, made outta spare parts, when I came up with using 8" wheels.  Only ones I had with decent insets + I figured it would roll better on his stone driveway.  Kinda hooked on the look now.
