i have @Troy @harris92  and @Jason to thank for this score. This was secured a few months ago and I've been meaning to really clean her up before posting. That's not happening soon and I need to use it. Yep haven't even cooked on it yet, shame.

So when this was posted I saw an old gray for $30 but didn't really look further than the thumb as I was quickly scrolling down the ads at work ;). About 2 hours later Harris messages me that there might be s flat top 26er in my neck of the woods. Light bulb city, I clicked the ad and it was the same one I saw earlier, shit I think, must be gone by now and it's far from me. Troy and Harris both checked pictures closer for me and it was a definite 26er which is been waiting years for...shit, why did I not look closer. I desperately send Jason a text and he says "no problem" and picks it up for me, it was very close to his house...on top of that he talks em down to 20. That earned him a tip :)

As for the grill. A couple of dents but very little chipping, handle and leg sockets are rusty and integrity is starting to show in the handle and 1 socket, but there all solid still and will last a good long time still. A bunch of paint and other substances that need deep cleaning. I heard sos is bad for this old steel? Ash pan is a little beat up but I have it and it'll straighten good enough. I have 2 of 3 thumb screws, one twisted off with players but I got the nub out with the vice grips.

Gentleman thanks for the support, it's while we're here. I'm really thrilled I got this grill, I'm really excited to use it.

Ah....good to see you with a 26er James. The "Black Beast" looks wonderful......as buckie says...you're gonna love the real estate. I'm liking the look of the Blue Genesis too.
"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"
