Wow. That baby cleaned up beauty. I really wish I lived close bye 6.....amongst other reasons.....to visit the GB and bring my Kettles for treatments. Probably good I live half a country away.

nice job on the restoration what technique do you use for cleaning up the vents and ash pan they look pristine, i have a tough time getting mine cleaned up, do you remove them?

Thanks for all the kind comments guys - hands down my favorite kettle! The color just screams retro and it's such a nice blue 8)

I did some hard-core interweb searching and was able to find... wait for it.... 3(!!) push caps about 30min away. Thanks for the info and the offers to help but I think I'm just going to order a pack through Amazon now that this ones taken care of.
