it was worth the wait.

i checked clist chicago about this time yesterday and found a $15 ulime green SJ.  emailed the seller and was on my way after i finished my coffee.

see, this isn't a good deal in chicago if you have to drive $5-10 in gas for it.  but it was close to me so why not? 





i'll do some lid comparison shots with the euro SG later today. 

happy father's day to all WKC fathers and people that know or have had fathers! 

i made the red table with my dad back in 1978 or '79.  :D

I stare at my Ulime a lot …. I put a nice mahogany Zav on mine …  :D

really?  i hadn't heard that yet but i had suspected it to be the case. @indy82z

down the road i do want to grab a C&B perf, but that's probably next year.  ;)

Getting ready to head out on vacation, but I will post a picture of the two together when I get back for you to see...looks pretty identical to me..

The ULine is a very close match to the C&B but there are true C&B SJ's out there as well - only in the "Gold" variant. 8)
