Overall pretty solid. Bought it from the orig. owner. As we're talking he says he has a real big grill over in the barn. I said you have a Ranch??!! (heart rate quickens)...and lo, behind an old Ariens snowblower stood a mothership in nice shape other than missing the top vent! Turns out he borrowed it from the local Boy Scouts "about 8 yrs. ago". Lol.

Anyway, here's the fade. Looks like there was duct tape or some-such on the lid at one time. It's got the big daisy tabs:

Here's el rancho:

After a 2-hr ride, and about 5 mins before getting to the fade's house, we went past this place...thought it was a good omen!

It looks to be in great shape, nice score!

That's a fantastic score!

That wood handle appears to be in good condition, just a little dried out.
I recommend rubbing it with 0000 steel wool, then a coat or 2 of Tung oil.  Then 2-3 coats of spar varnish.  It will look like new again. Enjoy!
Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

That's a nice find. That's in great shape to begin with. The handle looks like it will refinish nicely. Congratulations!

Well done!  Did you snag the ranch?
